Chapter One

Anria's Ashes is collected and cohesive-icized by *WishIWould, edited by *CallistoHime and is an official companion volume to Among the Ashes.

Unlike Diem RP itself, Anria's Ashes has a cohesive storyline it follows. I've chosen things that will flow towards characters who are more closely related to RP (such as the Regent, the Elite, etc), and storylines that both represent the whole RP and its happenings, and relate to those AtA readers who do not follow RP.

*The General Store*   
Morning came too soon. Stormy got up with a groan, setting about her morning routine. On most days it wasn't so bad, but without her husband near-by such things seemed to drag on too long. Dressing, eating, opening shop and then waiting for customers just seemed so dull. With a groan she set about fussing with the stock again, organizing and reorganizing the wares just to have something to do.   
A tall, thin shadow seemed to be pacing outside the general store window.

After averting the situation he’d been called away for, Marcus was pacing the long side of the training grounds.   
Luke came up beside him, shaking his head. "Hey, you doing ok captain?"   
He stopped, clenched his fists so hard his arms shook and his jaw clenched.   
"Not really," he said slowly.   
Luke wanted to joke with him, make him feel better, but he decided to stick with the serious. "What is it?"   
Marcus closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths.

A gentle knock came at the front door.   
"Hello?" Came Jenna's soft voice through the door.   
The new hired help stepped quickly over to the front door and undid the bolt, opening the door for the voice of a girl that sounded somewhat familiar. She hoped she was doing the right thing opening up the inn, but there was no one else to do so at the moment. "Good morning," she smiled up at the young lady who stood before her on the doorstep.

Anria's Ashes Project!

NEW PROJECT in the works!

I have taken it upon myself to novelize the Diem RP into a single, followable narrative - chapter formats and everything!

This is edited by Chrissy and is an official companion volume to Among the Ashes. It's been a big project to figure how to put it all together and work it in a way that works for chapter format, and I've had to use some creative license in some areas, but I'm proud of how it's coming!

Unlike Diem RP itself, Anria's Ashes has a storyline it follows. I've chosen things that will flow towards characters who are more closely related to RP (such as the Regent, the Elite, etc), and storylines that both represent the whole RP and its happenings and relate to those AtA readers who do not follow RP.

I've had to choose very carefully which things will tie together cohesively. That means, unfortunately, that many more characters are pushed to the background than already are in the WoD transcripts. Please understand - this does not mean that your character is unimportant or unloved. It's like making a book-to-movie translation - look at Harry Potter ;) Many favorite and beloved things have to be cut or de-emphasized in order for something cohesive to come out.

Anyway I've put a lot of work into this. @.o I hope you like it, and that you enjoy the read!

HELP STILL NEEDED!

If you are willing and able to copy threads from the Diem Roleplay (diemrp.proboards57.com) into word documents, please let me know! Either use common sense on what/where to copy from and which characters to follow, or do so at your own discretion and send me whatcha get.

WARNING: some characters in early RP are not canon and will need to be deleted/edited out before posting, or will have story arcs simply not included on the posted World of Diem. I'll take care of that editing and deciding, but if you copy withotu asking, it may accidentally end up being a thread we won't follow.

A good clue: if we've followed the character on the threads already posted here, then they're prolly canon.

OTHER WARNING: old threads didn't link to each other when characters changed location...you just have to guess. X_X

Well, it's seveeeerely behind...but it's not a club, you just watch. ^^ And I go through the threads of the Diem Roleplay and copy them into deviations, then organize them in the proper timelines for people to read!

I'm also working on a somewhat loose translation of roleplay into a chapter formatted novel, companion to Among the Ashes. ^___^

If you're interested in doing random transcript work for me to make it easier, just let me know, ;) XD~

D'aww, we thought about it, but since this account is for posting specifically canon things and Rikku was a character made for a different story, it just en't possible. =( That's why she's included in some things as an "extra," but can't be featured. Ees so sad! :crying:

Because Rikku was a character created for another universe - therefore it "works out" for her to be roleplayed, with some details changed, but she's not "part of what Chrissy sees" in Diem. All the canon characters are created for Diem and fit in with AtA. There's nothing wrong with Rikku ^^ But she's not a part of AtA, see?

yea, i guess...
but i can't help but be bummed y'know.
Rikku did have an impact on alot of stuff. I mean how r u gunna deal with kkuke then if ur not mentioning it....
since you can't just go straight to marie and Luke, he met her when he was like Heartbroken about Rikku...
